A Christmas Prayer ♥🎄♥

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace”
(Isaiah 9:6)

In the festivities of this season, may we always remember why we celebrate. Abba, put it into our hearts that this is not just time to jolly but the beginning of the greatest love story ever written.

Teach us again, why You came. Remind us that here, You cast your glory aside to come to earth and take all our burdens on Yourself in exchange for sweet, eternal life.

Here marks the start, where You came to live, to save, to heal, to teach, to be a model to us of what life should look like. Here marks the beginning of salvation, of peace, of freedom and of the end of the kingdom of darkness.

So even as we eat and laugh and merry, may we proclaim You in every of these actions. Spirit help us never to forget that You, Yeshua, sent by Abba is the reason for this season. Our hearts are forever glad as we receive this gift of grace, a gift that keeps on giving!

I pray for you, that you will spread His love wherever you go, this Christmas and beyond. Amen.
